J. Frank Dobie High School – Senior Awards, May 7th, 2025

We are honored to share that Jamare Philbert and Sydney Rodriguez were awarded the Nathan Lee Montez Jr. Memorial Scholarship at Dobie High School’s Senior Awards on May 7, 2025.

Each received a $500 scholarship given in Nathan’s memory. Nathan was a dedicated student at Dobie who cared deeply for others, and we know he would want us to continue supporting his classmates. His life continues to inspire us and it is a blessing to honor him in this way, turning our sorrow into hope and encouragement for the future.

Congratulations, Jamare and Sydney! May God guide your steps and bless the paths ahead of you. Carry on with courage, faith, and hope.
