Honoring Nathan’s life. Letting his light shine hope into the world.

The Blue Bee Project was born from the unimaginable loss of our son to suicide. Out of heartbreak came a promise: to honor his life by helping others find hope.

While many organizations do important work raising awareness about suicide and mental health, this project is deeply personal. No one else can tell our son’s story, and his story is at the heart of everything we do.

Our purpose is simple, but meaningful:

  • To honor our son’s life and share his story with honesty and love
  • To share messages that remind people they are not alone
  • To create or support meaningful actions that raise awareness and spread hope

We may be small like a bee, but we believe that even the smallest efforts can make a difference. We hope to keep Hope alive in and through our Blue Bee Project community — this means you, too. We hope that people find it in our stories, in our presence, in the places and events where we show up, and in every act of kindness sparked by someone in our hive. Like bees, we may scatter, each carrying goodness into new places, leaving behind traces of love and hope that ripple outward into other communities.

You are not alone.
There is hope. And we are here.
