The Nathan Montez, Jr. Scholarship was established in loving memory of our son, Nathan.

Nathan had dreams and made plans for his future. It was important to him, so his family created scholarships for area graduating seniors.

Nathan cared deeply about others and had a way of making people feel valued. With these scholarships, we hope to extend that same sense of care to graduating seniors and affirm that they matter.

Through short reflections and essays, students are invited to share their thoughts on community, compassion, and supporting one another’s mental well-being. Our hope is not only to award a scholarship, but also to encourage kindness, understanding, and the courage to reach out.

With your support, the Blue Bee Project ensures Nathan’s name and compassion continue on.
